Today I narrate Jeremy Brett's thoughts on the episode 'The Eligible Batchelor'. This one, while recieved better than 'The Last Vampyre', is still considered a rather weak episode. At the time of filming, Jeremy had some reservations, but still actually had some excitement for it. It was largely thought this more to do with being happy that he was back filming than anything else. He would later withdraw that enthuasiam when interviewed about it after the fact. Note: The narration for this one is constructed from two seperate interviews. The Last Vampyre is largely regarded as a very weak point in the Granada Sherlock Holmes TV series, and it seems Jeremy Brett was no fan of it either.
